College offers platform to students to express their talent in cultural, social activities by means of student union as well as N. S.S. . The college promotes patriotic attitude in students by offering N.C.C.  The college aims at overall development of student by bringing out hidden talents. The college also has active C.W.D.C. which promotes equilibrium of women.

Student Union

NSS program was started at our college in 1972-73. The first Program officer was Shri. P.H. Patel. The present program officer Shri. B.F. Makarani, since 1995.

The NSS program is targeted at creating a service attitude amongst  students. At present we have two units of NSS consisting more than 200 volunteers. The NSS units of our college are involved in cleanliness drives, tree plantation, blood donation camp, anti-superstition campaign, literacy mission, adult education, AIDS awareness, Polio campaign etc. The NSS also organizes an annual camp in one of the neighboring villages where student volunteers stay for 10 days and participate in rural life. Every three years the unit adopts a village. Presently we have adopted village Dangaria in Devgadh Baria Taluka. The NSS volunteers also conduct Socioeconomic survey of the village.

Kum. Rathwa Geetaben Kesharsinh, an NSS volunteer of our college was awarded second rank in the Best Student Leaders’ Seminar organized by Gujarat University in 2007.

The college has a troupe of 105 cadets under 30 Guj. Bn NCC Godhra out of which 55 from first year, 30 in second while remaining are from third year. NCC is aimed at   developing the overall personality of students and to inculcate in them qualities of courage, leadership, discipline and selfless service. NCC held CATC camp at Simaliya during 10-8-08 to 19-8-08 while the other CATC camp was held at Sankali during 6-12-08 to 15-12-08 in which 16 cadets participated.

CWDC looks after the specific issues of women’s development, problems and ensure equal status for women in the college. The cell has been formed as per the ministry of H.R.D., U.G.C. and Gujarat University guidelines. C.W.D.C. has actively contributed the welfare of women students through seminars, debates, rallies, grievance redressal and personal counseling etc.

The college has student union, presided by principal and guided by a faculty member. The student representatives are elected on merit, at following positions. Besides that a specific talent heads the concern issue/activities.

Further more, we proudly state that Gopalsinh Zala was elected as board member for Student Welfare Council of Gujarat University. Various activities like publishing “Kshitij”, Youth festival, Talent Search, Sports, Annual Day, Tour etc are handled by student union. The funding of student union comes under the head of cultural fees. Besides that governing body promotes it.
